Bert & May expands into South West

Specialist tile maker Bert & May has opened a new showroom in Bristol as it looks to grow its customer base in the South West of England.

The company also has showrooms in London and York.

Bert & May said it is already working with many customers, including interior designers and architects, in Bristol. The new site is situated in the city’s Clifton Village, sitting amongst its Georgian townhouses, independent shops, bars and restaurants.

Spanning 550 square feet, the showroom displays the full range of Bert & May’s contemporary and reclaimed tiles and there will also be space to create mood boards of projects with samples from the collections.

In addition, Bert & May will host regular customer events within the space.

To celebrate the opening, the company has launched a special Clifton tile which takes its inspiration from the coloured facades of houses in Clifton.

Bert & May founder Lee Thornley said: “We are delighted to be opening our third showroom in the vibrant city of Bristol. We have always loved the city for its creative vibe and abundance of independent retailers, artisan makers and creatives and we are looking forward to joining the community. This is an exciting new chapter for the brand; we look forward to welcoming existing customers and meeting new ones, helping them to update and renovate their homes with handmade tiles.”
