Bensons for Beds appoints Lindsay Haselhurst as non-executive director

Bensons for Beds has appointed Currys chief operating officer Lindsay Haselhurst as a non-executive director.

Haselhurst joined the electricals retailer in 2020 as chief supply chain officer with responsibility for the supply chain and end-to-end customer experience. In her operations position, she leads channels, operations, and B2B.

Prior to Currys, Haselhurst worked with Kingfisher as supply chain and operations director at Screwfix before taking on a global supply and logistics director role for the group.

Her career has also included a number of senior roles at logistics giant Wincanton across the UK and Europe.

Bensons chairman Ian Shepherd said: “It is a huge testimony to the business that Bensons is becoming, that we are able to attract someone of Lindsay’s calibre to join our board.

“She is a top-class retail operator and I’m excited to see the contribution she will make to our transformation programme, supporting Nick Collard and his terrific team.”

Bensons operates from over 160 stores across the UK.
