Bath & Body Works makes two new appointments to board of directors
Bath & Body Works has appointed Alessandro Bogliolo and Juan Rajlin to its board of directors.
Possessing more than 30 years’ experience in the retail and luxury brand markets, Bogliolo most recently served as chief executive at Tiffany & Co where he led a successful revitalisation of the brand and managed its acquisition by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. He has also held senior roles at Bulgari and Sephora USA, and is a former chief executive of Diesel.
Meanwhile, Rajlin is the vice president and treasurer of Alphabet and joins the Bath & Body Works board with a background in finance, data analytics and consumer trends. His CV also includes stints at Mastercard and General Motors Company.
As previously announced, Bath & Body Works said that Andrew Meslow and Robert Schottenstein will not stand for re-election to the board at the company’s annual meeting of stockholders in May 2022.
Sarah Nash, executive chair of Bath & Body Works, said, “Alessandro and Juan are accomplished international leaders with a track record of success, and we are excited to have them join our board. Both have a strong background in global business which will support our growth outside of North America. Bath & Body Works had a record-breaking year in 2021, and we look forward to partnering with them both to continue that forward momentum.”
