Trinny London launches new initiative to highlight female-founded businesses

Digital beauty brand Trinny London has embarked on a new initiative that shines a spotlight on female-founded businesses.

Every six months, three businesses featured on Trinny Woodall’s Instagram series, The Elevator Pitch, will have their products stocked in Trinny London’s flagship store on King’s Road.

The first brands being given space in the store include The Smooth Company’s hair-taming wands, Seep’s sustainable, plastic-free cleaning tools, and Chalk House Jewellery. The brands were founded by Áine Kennedy, Laura Harnett and Malaika Carr respectively.

The Elevator Pitch series aims to showcase female founders and their business ventures. The brands featured in the store are not required to pay any costs and all sales revenue goes directly to the founders.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Trinny Woodall, founder and chief executive of Trinny London, said: “I’ve met so many incredible female founders through The Elevator Pitch, and I wanted to find a way to support them beyond the screen.

“Bringing their products into our flagship store is a natural next step and gives them an opportunity to expand their reach while offering our customers something new and exciting.”
