The Perfume Shop Warehouse team raises £28,000 for Look Good Feel Better
The Perfume Shop, the UK’s largest specialist perfume retailer, is proud to announce that its dedicated warehouse team has raised an impressive £28,000 in 2024 for Look Good Feel Better, a leading cancer support charity.
These funds will directly support Look Good Feel Better workshops at Luton & Dunstable Hospital for the entire year of 2025.
Charity fundraising is something the warehouse team at The Perfume Shop excels in, having raised over £64,000 across their charity partners in 2024.
Inspired by the knowledge that Luton & Dunstable Hospital is just 2.5 miles away, the warehouse team was deeply moved to learn what was needed to sustain the workshops for a full year. This strong community connection fuelled their determination to make a meaningful difference, embodying The Perfume Shop’s Year of Kindness in 2024.
By directing funds straight to this local service, the initiative highlights how the business is uniting with its community to uplift those who need it most. With 2,000 people attending these workshops, the team understands the impact—whether on colleagues in the warehouse, friends, family, or even strangers they pass on the street.
To mark this incredible milestone, Mark Flannery, CEO of Look Good Feel Better, joined Gill Smith, Managing Director of The Perfume Shop, on Tuesday, 25th February 2025, at The Perfume Shop warehouse in Dunstable to celebrate the team’s outstanding achievement.
The visit was also an opportunity for Mark to meet the passionate fundraisers and experience one of their legendary activities firsthand—a bake sale to beat all bake sales! The team raised an additional £580 for the charity on the day, a testament to their dedication and baking skills.
Mark Flannery expressed his gratitude, saying:
“I was lucky enough to say a few words to The Perfume Shop warehouse team to thank them for their incredible and passionate support of Look Good Feel Better UK. Most of all, I want to acknowledge their commitment to supporting cancer communities in their local area.
Thank you all for a brilliant morning and for the chance to meet you in person—it truly means a lot to me. What you do, and how you do it, is phenomenal. You should be incredibly proud.”
Gill Smith, Managing Director of The Perfume Shop, added:
“We are thrilled to have raised such a significant amount for Look Good Feel Better. Our warehouse team has demonstrated remarkable dedication to supporting this important cause, and we couldn’t be prouder of their hard work and passion. At The Perfume Shop, giving back is at the heart of what we do, and we are honoured to continue our partnership with Look Good Feel Better, making a real difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.”
The Perfume Shop remains committed to supporting Look Good Feel Better through ongoing fundraising initiatives and partnerships. In total, the company raised over £200,000 for the charity, reinforcing its dedication to making a meaningful impact.
