The Perfume Shop unveils Top 10 fragrances for Christmas 2024 following record-breaking sales
The Perfume Shop, the UK’s largest fragrance retailer, has predicted their top 10 fragrances expected to sell out this Christmas.
As the festive season approaches, fragrances and scented gift sets remain a popular option for gifting. While classic favourites like Dior Sauvage and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle continue to dominate the list for 2024, some newer scents have also made their way into the top 10, joining the retailer’s best-sellers.
Here are the top 10 predicted best-selling fragrances:

- Dior J’Adore Eau de Parfum
- Boss Bottled Absolu Eau de Toilette
- Mugler Alien Eau de Parfum
- Jimmy Choo Le Parfum
Last year, The Perfume Shop reported remarkable sales, with over 500,000 bottles sold in the final week leading up to Christmas. The busiest day on their website during December 2023 was the 10th of December, when a record 31,748 bottles were sold. Dior Sauvage EDP 60ml topped the list of best-selling fragrances online, with 12,308 bottles sold throughout the month.
In addition to high fragrance sales, The Perfume Shop’s personalisation services were also a big hit, with a +34% increase in ribbon sales compared to 2022. The retailer’s commitment to sustainability continued to resonate with customers, as over 81,000 refill bottles were purchased both in-store and online in 2023. This demonstrates the growing demand for environmentally friendly options and more sustainable fragrance choices.
Andrea Rickard, The Perfume Shop’s Trading Director, commented: “We know Christmas is a very special time for many of our customers, and fragrances are always the perfect gift. It’s great to see classic fragrances like Rabanne and Dior remain popular, which is why they’ve made it into the top 10. However, we’re also excited to see newer scents like Burberry Goddess and Yves Saint Laurent MYSLF becoming firm favourites ahead of the festive season.
