The Perfume Shop takes to the road

After 25 years on the UK high street, fragrance retailer The Perfume Shop has introduced its first ever mobile shop.

The Pop Up Perfume Shop, named by staff as ‘Vera Vang’, has been launched to take the retailer’s perfumes and expertise on the road.

Showcasing the company’s best-selling fragrances and latest launches, ‘Vera Vang’ will travel the country from this September and will be staffed by team members from local stores.

Having made its debut at Fusion Festival in Liverpool at the weekend, the van will continue to appear at further events around the UK including the National Wedding Show at Olympia and Excel in London as well as at events in Manchester and Birmingham. It will also be present at London’s Asian Wedding Show.

Cathy Newman, The Perfume Shop’s marketing and customer experience director, said: “As we continue to celebrate our silver anniversary, we thought the Perfume Van was the perfect opportunity to take to the roads and get even more people to join the celebrations.

“The idea for came from Jennifer Leahey, a colleague in Liverpool and therefore, as Fusion Festival takes place in her hometown, it seemed like the perfect place for the launch.”
