The Perfume Shop reveals busiest stores in run-up to Valentine’s Day
Fragrance retailer The Perfume Shop has revealed that its Glasgow stores were the busiest in the country in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day. Other shops with high footfall included stores in London, Sheffield, Kent and Manchester.
Due to high demand, The Perfume Shop Glasgow Fort was kept open until midnight last night. As well as being given the chance to pick up last minute gifts, shoppers were offered a beer or glass of prosecco while they browsed the perfumes.
Andrea Rickard, The Perfume Shop trading director, said: “Every year we see a huge influx of male shoppers searching for Valentine’s Day gifts on the eve of the big day. Glasgow is the city we see the biggest increase, so this year we wanted to relieve the stress for those shoppers who need just a few extra hours and open the store until midnight, offering refreshments and expertise and great value offers.”
The Perfume Shop is predicting that some of the most popular fragrances for Valentine’s gifts this year will be Gucci Guilty Black and Paco Rabanne Lady Million.
