The Perfume Shop reports strong Mother’s Day sales
The UK’s largest fragrance retailer celebrated every mum and reported its Mother’s Day results with a staggering 140,000 bottles sold during 3rd to 10th March 2024.
The Perfume Shop saw a 16% increase in sales volume compared to the same period in 2023.
The Perfume Shop’s sales were driven by a 11% increase in sales of classic fragrances and a 100% increase in gift sets compared to 2023. Promotional deals also proved popular for Mother’s Day with the website’s busiest day on Sunday 3rd March seeing a 24.9% increase in perfume purchases compared to last year.
The perfume retailer’s personalisation services were also in high demand, delivering over 27,000 ribbons and 460 engraved fragrances, showcasing just how personal fragrance is for Mother’s Day. Sales were up 4% vs 2023.

The top best-selling fragrances for Mother’s Day were: Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau de Toilette Gift Set, Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum, Dior Miss Dior Eau de Parfum, Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush Elixir Eau de Parfum, Vera Wang Princess Eau de Toilette, Hugo Boss The Scent Elixir For Her Eau De Parfum.
