The Perfume Shop opens upgraded experiential store in Dunfermline with sustainable features

The Perfume Shop celebrated the scent-sational new addition of another new and improved experiential store at Kingsgate Centre, Dunfermline.

The iconic retailer revealed a new and improved customer experience with a stylish new layout and upgraded services including a digital screen, personalised ribbon machines, as well as offering The Perfume Shop’s signature expert fragrance consultations, complimentary gift wrapping and a recycling service where customers can drop off used perfume bottles to receive 15% off their next purchase.

Not only this, but the new store also marked the occasion with a bottle giveaway to the first 15 people who spent £70 across Friday 16th August- Saturday 17th August. The bestsellers on the day of opening were Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid, Mugler A* Men Fantasm and Hugo Boss Bottled Night.

The Perfume Shop’s continuous expansions on new stores across the UK and re-fitting existing stores to ensure sustainability is always at the forefront. With this, stores continue to benefit from factors such as energy efficient LED lighting throughout, which contributes to The Perfume Shop’s commitment in reducing their energy consumption by 30% by 2030 vs 2015. All Principal Contractors are ISO14001 accredited to ensure their waste management on site is adhered to along with to control the ongoing environmental impact of their operations. Where possible, existing materials and equipment are retained or reused.

The opening was overseen by Emma Area Manager.

Emma commented: “The warm reception our new Dunfermline store received was wonderful. The local community welcomed us with open arms and really enjoyed the personalised consultations whilst uncovering new scents. We are so excited to continue providing the highest level of customer service here and making sure our customers are satisfied with their experience and perfume choices.”

One of the UK’s largest specialty retailers and home to nearly 130 brands, from designer perfume houses to celebrity fragrances, The Perfume Shop has been a staple on the high street for 30 years, serving those with a nose for great value.

The new store is located at The Perfume Shop, Unit 15a, Kingsgate Centre, Dunfermline KY12 7QU.
