The Fragrance Shop holds in-store ‘happiness takeover’
The Fragrance Shop is holding a “happiness takeover “across its 200-strong store estate in a partnership with children’s charity Rays of Sunshine.
The two week project, which will encourage shoppers to ‘Spray A Little Happiness’, kicked off at The Fragrance Shop in Westfield White City, which had its usual signage changed to ‘The Happiness Shop’. The launch also included singer Pixie Lott (pictured) surprising the Rays of Sunshine Wish Choir with a special performance of Pink’s ‘Cover Me in Sunshine’.
The Fragrance Shop chief executive Sanjay Vadera said: “As our strapline is “Spray A Little Happiness”, we at The Fragrance Shop are absolutely delighted to be spreading the message of happiness to our customers in all of our stores for the next two weeks. We are pleased to be partnering once again with Rays Of Sunshine, who have helped us kick off this incredible Happiness takeover at our Westfield White City store with their incredible Wish Choir, and a special appearance from Pixie Lott.”
The project will also see The Fragrance Shop’s other stores spread their own in-store happiness with a two-week competition where customers will be given the chance to win various hampers. The stores will also offer limited edition laminate gift bags that can be purchased for £2 in-store and online, as well as positive affirmation cards.
During the period, the retailer will be donating 5p from all in-store purchases to Rays of Sunshine. In addition, Vadera has pledged to match all donations in the two-week period. Customers will also have the option to donate an additional 25p at the tills with their purchases.
Rays of Sunshine children’s charity aims to brightens the lives of seriously ill young people aged between three to 18 across the UK by granting wishes, fulfilling hospital ward wishes and organising outings, events and providing entertainment for children during their time in hospital.
