Superdrug launches new same-day courier service
Superdrug has brought forward the introduction of its new same-day courier delivery service for customers who have urgent orders during the coronavirus pandemic.
The health and beauty retailer is offering the service to customers living within an eight mile radius of over 300 Superdrug stores.
Matt Walburn, ecommerce director at Superdrug, said: “The courier service is something that has been in development a while. We’ve brought it forward urgently to help those customers who are social distancing, from visiting stores at the moment and who might be in need of essential supplies quickly. We’re so pleased to be able to roll it out immediately to nearly half of our estate and we hope it goes some way in helping people during this time of need.”
Superdrug is continuing to offer its Online Doctor service throughout the crisis which allows customers to receive their prescriptions via click and collect after four hours, via express delivery within three days, or by standard delivery within six days. Customers can also take advantage of an in-store 30 minute order and collect service.
