Superdrug launches 30 minute store collection service

Health and beauty retailer Superdrug has launched a new ‘quick pick’ service where customers can check stock levels at their local stores then purchase items online for collection in just 30 minutes.

Currently 30% of all orders placed on Superdrug.com are collected from customers’ local stores the day after the order is placed. The retailer said the free 30 minute service will make shopping more convenient for customers.

Matt Walburn, ecommerce director AS Watson (UK), said: “We know our customers love the convenience of picking up Superdrug.com orders in our stores and we know they want to live more sustainably – avoiding the emissions that comes from ordering deliveries to their home.  Giving customers the ability to purchase online and pick up in 30 minutes with no charge is a key step in bringing our store and online business closer for our customers.”
