Space NK promotes Andy Lightfoot to chief executive role
Beauty retailer Space NK has promoted Andy Lightfoot to the position of chief executive.
Lightfoot joined the company in 2016 as group digital director and has been credited with delivering continuous top and bottom-line growth over the last three years.
In his new role, he will report to the company’s former chief executive Chris Garek who has now become executive chairman.
Garek said: “Andy’s drive and determination coupled with his leadership skills in his new role of CEO will enable Space NK UK and US to demonstrate itself as a leading omnichannel and customer centric retailer.”
Lightfoot will lead a divisional board team. Members include Margaret Mitchell, chief merchandising officer, Emma Simpson-Scott, chief marketing officer and Noah Rosenblatt, north America president.
Space NK is continuing to open stores in both the UK and US.
Lightfoot said: “Our unique position as the only multi-brand beauty specialist and our desire to place the customer at the centre of everything we do is the key to our success and must underpin everything we do as we prepare for the next stage of growth.”
