Space NK founder joins Philip Kingsley board

Premium hair care brand Philip Kingsley has appointed Space NK founder Nicky Kinnaird as a non-executive director.

Kinnaird founded the beauty retailer in 1991 and opened her first store in 1993. It now has over 80 locations in the UK.

Established over 60 years ago with a focus on trichology, Philip Kingsley offers a range of retail products for hair and scalp care. It also operates trichology clinics in New York and London where customers can access a range of treatments and supplements for hair health.

Anabel Kingsley, Philip Kingsley brand president and consultant trichologist, said: “We are thrilled to have Nicky Kinnaird MBE on board with us at Philip Kingsley, her incredible career spans over 30 years in the beauty industry and therefore we are grateful to have such an amazing addition to the team.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“Nicky’s visionary leadership and industry knowledge will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and innovation at Philip Kingsley. We look forward to the insights and strategic guidance she will bring to our team.”

Kinnaird now runs her own brand consultancy where clients include leaders in the beauty, wellness, fitness, and lifestyle sectors in the UK, Europe, US, and the Middle East.

Her other non-executive director appointments include clinical skincare brand Colorescience, and wellness supplements brand Lumity.

Commenting on her appointment, she said: “Consumer awareness is, rightly, building around the importance of scalp care for healthy hair maintenance and growth. Philip Kingsley is and always has been at the epicentre of that field. Its mix of heritage and science-led approach make it a dynamic and hugely exciting brand.”
