Sephora to return to UK

Skincare and cosmetics retailer Sephora has confirmed that it is to return to the UK.

The company said it will initially have an online shop which will be followed by the opening of a physical store in London in the spring of 2023.

Last year, it acquired the Feelunique online beauty retailer which will become sephora.co.uk from 17 October.

Sephora previously launched in the UK in 2000 but left in 2005. It currently has a presence in 35 countries.

Chris de Lapuente, chief executive of Sephora, said: “At Sephora, we innovate every day to build the most loved beauty community. We are delighted to bring Sephira to the UK, responding to Britain’s strong demand for unique prestige beauty experience.”
