Rituals to open first store in Wales
The Rituals wellness and lifestyle brand is to open a debut flagship store in Wales at the St David’s shopping destination later this month.
Spanning 1,875 square feet, the store will be situated on the Lower Grand Arcade adjacent to Pandora and will sell the brand’s range of home, bath and body products.
Founded in 2000 by Raymond Cloosterman, Rituals now has over 600 stores worldwide.
Penny Grivea, managing director for UK & Ireland at Rituals, said: “Rituals has been expanding rapidly around the UK over the past five years, and we are thrilled to be opening our Cardiff store. We are always on the lookout for opportunities to grow and extend our reach, and St David’s presents the perfect destination for our Welsh debut. We are really looking forward to translating our philosophy – the art of soulful living – to the St David’s customer base and ensuring that they experience a unique shopping journey.”
The news follows the launch of a revitalised store for L’Occitane at David’s.
Commenting on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, Russell Loveland, senior portfolio director for Landsec, said: “Brands looking to establish a presence in Wales turn to St David’s as their first port of call; this year alone we’ve had national debuts for several global names including Breitling, Morphe, and Sky. We are delighted to now be welcoming Rituals too, an esteemed brand operating within the ever-growing wellness industry. This is a space that is seeing continued interest from our guests at St David’s, so we are excited to be delivering this for Wales for the first time.”
