Rituals opens first store in Liverpool
The Rituals bath, body and home brand has opened its first store in Liverpool at the Liverpool ONE shopping destination.
Situated on South John Street, the 1,700 square foot store stocks the brand’s luxury skin and body care products as well as scented candles and fragrance sticks.
Penny Grivea, managing director for UK & Ireland at Rituals, said: “We are so excited to have opened at Liverpool ONE, our debut store in the city. As we continue to expand our retail footprint across the country, Liverpool ONE will be a key location for us, as the destination has both a strong, loyal customer base, as well as the ability to continuously attract visitors from across the country and internationally. We’re excited to introduce the unique Rituals retail experience to shoppers in the city and show them how to transform daily routines into meaningful rituals.”
The launch marks the first store opening of the year for Liverpool ONE and a successful 2021 when sales rose by 8,2% on the same period in 2019. New brands taking space at the scheme included the likes of Omega, Castore and Bershka.
Alison Clegg, managing director, asset management at Grosvenor, added: “We are delighted Rituals has chosen Liverpool ONE as the destination of choice for its debut in the city. It is a great addition to our continually evolving wellness and premium lifestyle offering, providing a quality choice for shoppers and solidifying our position as one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations.”
The opening follows news that premium footwear brand Russell and Bromley has signed for a new 3,000 square foot store also on South John Street.
