Rituals hails record year after sales exceed €2 billion
Rituals is set to open more stores across the world after its annual sales broke through the €2 billion barrier.
In the beauty brand’s 2024 financial year, sales increased by 21% to €2.1 billion following growth across all channels and its 42 countries.
Rituals attributed the success to its performance in Europe and expansion in Asia, adding that trade was boosted by its seamless omnichannel customer experience, growth in its member programme, and investment in physical stores.
The retailer opened 241 shops across the world in 2024, including its first shop in Japan and new locations in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and mainland China.
Rituals is planning to launch a further 243 stores worldwide in the current year with a focus on momentum in Europe and expanding the brand in Asia.
As part of its mission to be a “business for good”, Rituals has recertified for the prestigious B Corp certification for its high standards of social and environmental performance.
It has also announced a profit pledge where 10% of its net profit in the previous year will be committed to organisations that support the wellbeing of people and planet.
