Revlon hires Sergio Pedreiro as chief operating officer
Revlon has appointed Sergio Pedreiro as its chief operating officer.
Due to join the company on 8 January, Pedreiro will be heavily involved in restructuring and transforming the company’s business operations. This will include improving efficiency and helping to build growth. He will report directly to Debra Perelman, Revlon’s president and chief executive.
From 2009 to 2014, Pedreiro was chief financial officer at Coty. More recently, he recently served as chief executive of Estre Ambiental, a NASDAQ-listed waste management company in Brazil.
Commenting on the appointment, Perelman said: “Sergio brings to Revlon a wealth of operational and restructuring expertise, as well as decades of experience from leading international organisations across a diverse array of industries. As we enter 2020, which will be a year of continuing significant transformation and change for Revlon, Sergio will be an important addition to Revlon’s team.”
