Molton Brown joins line-up at Centre:MK

The Centre:mk shopping centre in Milton Keynes has seen Molton Brown join its line-up of premium brands.

Situated in the heart of Centre:mk’s new premium quarter next to Jigsaw and Joules, the 1,700 square foot store stocks the brand’s range of bath and body gifts, including male grooming and fragrances. The store was designed by an in-house team.

In addition, Hawes and Curtis is upsizing to a new 1,800 square foot store in the quarter, close to the recently opened T2, and The White Company.

The news follows the completion of a £10 million refurbishment of Centre:mk’s Sunset Walk to create the premium quarter. Anchored by House of Fraser, the quarter also includes Hobbs, L’Occitane and Pandora.

Speaking on behalf of Centre:mk’s joint owners, Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper, Ed Sellick said: “We are always looking to enhance our brands and provide an industry-leading retail offer and are pleased to welcome Molton Brown and Hawes and Curtis. The new brands complement our high-end fashion and lifestyle names.”

The investment in Sunset Walk to create the premium quarter is one of a number of initiatives planned or underway at Centre:mk under Hermes Investment Management’s leadership. Others include a new multi-storey carpark adjacent to John Lewis, improved toilet facilities and the creation of a dedicated customer lounge.
