MAC Cosmetics opens flagship store at Liverpool ONE

Beauty brand MAC Cosmetics has opened a new flagship store at the Liverpool ONE shopping destination.

The 2,654 square foot shop on Paradise Street uses ‘virtual try-on’ technology to enable customers to digitally sample its range of eye and lip shades through application to photos or live videos. The innovative tool forms part of the store’s safety measures for staff and customers during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Together with MAC’s cruelty-free makeup, skincare, brushes and accessories, the new store also offers a dedicated pampering station as well as qualified make-up artists on hand to provide expert advice to customers.

Alison Clegg, director of asset management at Grosvenor Europe, said: “The opening of the new MAC Cosmetics flagship is a much-anticipated event for the many brand devotees in the Liverpool area. This is yet another significant launch for Liverpool ONE to celebrate post-lockdown, and MAC’s entrance is set to strengthen Paradise Street as a beauty hub in its own right, alongside Morphe and Too Faced.”

The news follows the recent launch of sportswear brand Castore’s new store on Manesty’s Lane at Liverpool ONE, as well as a debut SGG Apparel pop-up at the destination’s South John Street.
