Lush relocates Milton Keynes store to Centre:mk

Lush has relocated its Milton Keynes shop to a 2,793 square foot store at Centre:mk.

The new unit is double the size of the previous shop and has enabled the bath products and cosmetics brand to create an experience-led store.

Situated at 58-60 Midsummer Arcade, the shop has been designed by an in-house team and stocks Lush’s complete range of handmade items. The layout and merchandising aim to encourage customers to interact with the products.

Rosie Goodbourn, Lush store design and materials researcher, said: “At Lush we pride ourselves on sourcing the most ethical materials possible and this includes the materials we use to fit our shops. We want to show that it is possible to have beautiful, innovative store design that supports our ethics as a company.”

Other retailers on Midsummer Arcade include footwear brand Skechers which has recently opened a 2,800 square foot store. In addition, stationery brand Neon Sheep has launched a 1,723 square foot shop on Sunset Walk.

Speaking on behalf of Centre:mk’s joint owners Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper, Ed Sellick said: “Consumers are increasingly making more informed choices about where they shop and the brands they engage with. We are reflecting that in how we evolve Centre:mk’s offer, which is why Lush is such a key addition.”
