Lush invests in new customer journey concept

Lush has revealed a new look Leicester shop following the store’s relocation to the Highcross shopping centre.

The shop is double the size of the original store with a retail area of 110 square metres. It is the third Lush shop across the UK to unveil a new customer journey concept following re-openings in Lincoln and Canterbury.

Lush is investing upwards of £5 million in rolling out the new concept to a selection of stores in the UK, France, Germany and  Ireland this calendar year.

Richie Fennell, Lush shop and space construction project manager, said: “At Lush, we put sustainability and the ethical sourcing of materials at the forefront of not only the ingredients that go into our fresh handmade cosmetics, but also the design and construction of our beautiful and innovative stores. These refits are paving the way for the regeneration of our stores by upgrading existing furniture for a fresh new look, reducing our waste and environmental impact.”

Lush now has 104 shops in the UK and Ireland and over 900 worldwide in 48 countries.
