L’Occitane to return to Trafford Centre

L’Occitane is returning to Manchester’s Trafford Centre with the opening of a new boutique.

After seven years away, the brand will resume its residency by launching a new shop in a premium position in the heart of the Main Dome on 20 July.

The space will offer a perfume atelier table and refill fountain to enable customers to top up their empties. The boutique has been fitted out in true Provence style and features the brand’s sunshine yellow colourway to give a South of France feel.

Avril O’Sullivan, retail director for L’Occitane UK & Ireland, said: “L’Occitane is delighted to return to Trafford Centre with our latest store concept which celebrates nature being at the heart of everything that we do.

“We look forward to welcoming customers new and existing to experience a moment of delight with our iconic Shea butter, Almond and Immortelle ranges and to join us on your journey and commitment to sustainability with our refill fountain and in-store recycle programme.”

Trafford Centre is home to 280 brands, including Selfridges, John Lewis, Zara, Next, Marks & Spencer and a 20-screen Odeon cinema.

Russell Loveland, director of UK asset management at Pradera Lateral, asset manager of Trafford Centre added: “We are delighted to welcome the return of L’Occitane to Trafford Centre.  It is a unique and much-loved brand that brings something different to the cluster of affordable luxury stores in our Main Dome area.”
