Jo Malone launches revamped St David’s store

Jo Malone London has opened a revamped store at Cardiff’s St David’s shopping centre.

Spanning 1,201 square feet, the new look shop is situated at 49 The Hayes adjacent to fashion retailer Seasalt.

The boutique-style store was designed by an in-house team and features a ‘Tasting Bar’ where customers are offered hand or arm massages and personalised fragrance profiling from Jo Malone London stylists. The shop also includes a customer ‘lounge’ area.

A spokesperson from Jo Malone London said: “We are delighted to be able to bring our updated store format to St David’s, offering our customers the personalised service that has become synonymous with our brand. Our refurbished Cardiff boutique gives customers the chance to delve deeper into our brand story, engage their senses and find their signature scent, all within an environment geared towards the demands of modern consumers, and alongside so many other leading international retailers.”

The opening  follows news that Hollister will be moving to an upsized store at the centre this spring.

Speaking on behalf of the St David’s Partnership, Colin Flinn, Intu’s regional managing director, said: “Experiential elements are increasingly important in the beauty industry, and Jo Malone London’s store re-fit is testament to the St. David’s offer as a key UK destination for lifestyle brands. Sitting alongside the likes of Michael Kors, The Ivy, and Vivienne Westwood, Jo Malone London forms an integral part of our premium retailer offer.”
