Estée Lauder announces new leadership appointments in Asia/Pacific
Estée Lauder has announced two new appointments within its Asia/Pacific region.
Joy Fan will be promoted to the position of president and chief executive of China and will remain a member of the company’s executive leadership team. In her new role, she will report directly to Peter Jueptner in his new position as president of international.
Meanwhile, mainland China will be elevated to report directly into the international organisation
Following the recent announcement that Mark Loomis, currently president of Asia/Pacific, will be taking on a new role of president of North America, Matthew Growdon will be promoted from his current position of general manager of Japan to the role of senior vice president and general manager of Asia/Pacific. He will also report to Jueptner.
In her new position, Fan will continue to be responsible for the company’s long-term growth strategy for China and its vision for the Chinese consumer. Meanwhile, Growdon will oversee all 12 markets in the region whilst working closely with affiliate general managers.
The promotions will come into effect in February 2022.
