Deciem to close a number of brands
Skincare specialist Deciem has announced that it is closing a number of brands.
In an Instagram post, the company revealed that it is saying goodbye to HIF, Hylamide, Abnomaly and The Chemistry Brand, although products will be still available for sale until they run out.
In the statement, Deciem said: “As our little company has grown, we’ve discovered that focus is absolutely necessary in order to give brands the love they deserve. As we turn nine and move towards completing Deciem’s first decade, we are refocusing our attention on science-first functional skincare.”
The Ordinary, Deciem’s most successful brand, will still be operating as will NIOD, its premium offering.
Deciem added: “This new approach will power us to do more of what you love, while allowing us the space to innovate with new brands in the future. Thank you for being with us for another birthday.”
Founded in 2013 by Brandon Truaxe, Deciem is majority owned by Estee Lauder.
