Boots launches own media and marketing service for brand partners
Boots UK has launched its own media and marketing service as it looks to help third party brands deliver targeted advertising and marketing campaigns.
In a statement, the health and beauty retailer said the Boots Media Group will enable its supply partners to send connected campaigns to customers through execution on Boots’ owned platforms and a range of external channels using data based on the retailer’s 17 million active loyalty members. It will also offer access to audience and shopper insights, dedicated account management and a full-service approach from campaign planning to creative development.
Pete Markey, chief marketing officer of Boots UK, said: “At Boots, we have an unparalleled insight into our customers’ needs and shopping habits. By unlocking the power of our first-party data and giving access to our marketing channels to brands, we can help accelerate ROI by delivering relevant experiences to customers and ultimately enhance the shopping experience for them.”
Boots has partnered with commerce marketing specialist Threefold on the service.
Sam Knights, chief executive of Threefold, said: “Boots has an unparalleled set of capabilities in this space. With a strong and respected brand, a complete omnichannel proposition and the ability to activate campaigns at significant scale, we’re thrilled to be partnering with Boots to bring this opportunity to the market for brands.”
