Benefit’s Bold is Beautiful programme achieves remarkable results
Benefit, the UK’s #1 Prestige Brow Brand, proudly announces the success of its annual Bold is Beautiful philanthropy programme, having raised approximately £2M for charity partners Look Good Feel Better and Refuge.
Since launching the Bold is Beautiful programme in 2015, Benefit UK & Ireland has donated £5 from every brow wax to its charity partners.
These funds support workshops, safe houses, and refuges, aiding women and children through education, mentorship, wellness workshops, and financial self-sufficiency. The programme helps women affected by cancer and domestic abuse, providing essential resources to rebuild their lives.
Bold is Beautiful fosters a community of women supporting women through various fundraising efforts, including silent auctions, car washes, brow services, and marathons. Benefit has raised approximately £2M in the UK & Ireland, contributing to over $26.6M globally.
The funds raised through the Bold is Beautiful programme have kept a refuge open for four years, providing 1,519 safe nights for women and children fleeing domestic abuse. Additionally, 1,436 confidence-boosting makeup and skincare workshops were funded for people living with cancer.
Sarah Harbon, General Manager, Benefit Cosmetics UK & Ireland said: “Bold is Beautiful goes beyond the beauty counter, impacting countless lives of women and children. Every brow wax supports our charity partners, helping women and girls feel empowered and supported.”
Mark Flannery, CEO of Look Good Feel Better added: “The Bold is Beautiful campaign is a highlight of our year, raising much-needed funds. We thank Benefit and its customers for their continued support, enabling us to reach more people affected by cancer.”
Louise Firth, Director of Fundraising & Communications, Refuge commented: “Refuge is thrilled to have partnered with Benefit for over a decade. The funds and awareness raised are phenomenal, supporting survivors of domestic abuse. We are excited for another Bold is Beautiful campaign.”
