Aesop’s Fresh Chapter: A New Store in Marylebone

Aēsop, the renowned skincare brand, has unveiled its newly-relocated store on Marylebone High Street, marking a significant milestone after a decade at its previous location.

The brand’s in-house design team has ingeniously drawn inspiration from the serene gardens and majestic architecture of Marylebone, London, giving the new store a distinct character.

Drawing cues from the nearby British Library and local bookshops, the space exudes a harmonious blend of warm timbers and cool green tones, creating a welcoming and inviting atmosphere. The store’s layout cleverly divides into two intimate spaces, each offering a unique experience for customers.

Upon stepping into the first room, visitors are greeted with “rhythmic” shelves and a central basin, inviting them to explore Aēsop’s comprehensive range of formulations for the skin, hair, body, and home. It’s a space designed for discovery and self-exploration.

In the second room, the focus shifts to a more immersive encounter. Customers can indulge in a sensory journey through Aēsop’s various fragrances, made possible by the enticing Fragrance Armoire. The store also offers personalized consultations with knowledgeable staff, ensuring customers find the perfect products to suit their needs and preferences.

This latest addition to the Aēsop family is part of their expansion, with recent store openings in Canary Wharf, Regent Street, and Cambridge. Each store is thoughtfully inspired by the unique history and ambiance of its location, creating a special connection with the community it serves.

Founded in Melbourne in 1987, Aesop has remained steadfast in its commitment to crafting premium skincare, hair, and body products. Their meticulous approach involves sourcing plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients with proven safety and effectiveness. At each Aēsop store, well-informed consultants are eager to introduce customers to the brand’s exceptional range and provide expert guidance in making selections.

When The Retail Bulletin asked about the reason behind the relocation, an Aesop spokesperson revealed that the decision was driven by a desire to accommodate their growing customer base and offer a more expansive space. This move also allowed the introduction of exciting new experiences, such as the Fragrance Armoire and Ensuite sinks, further enhancing the overall shopping journey.

Aēsop’s Marylebone store serves as a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction. With their passion for quality products and genuine care for the customer experience, Aēsop continues to make its mark as a global leader in the skincare industry.
