Yoox appoints chief information officer
Yoox, the Italian online retail group, has appointed former Walmart executive Alex Alexander as chief information officer.
In his new role, Alexander will lead all of Yoox’s technology functions and be responsible for delivering “world-class” solutions and processes to support the company’s growing business needs.
Alexander has spent the last three years at Walmart Global Ecommerce in the role of multichannel technology director where he was responsible for designing and executing the multi-year omni-channel strategy for Asda.
Prior to Walmart, he held senior IT and multi-channel roles at international companies such as Barclays Bank, leading strategic IT planning and execution, business restructuring and integration, software engineering and IT infrastructure.
