Yodel names new CEO

Parcel carrier company Yodel has appointed Mike Cooper as its new chief executive.
Due to take up his position on 1 February, Cooper previously spent nine years at passenger transport provider Arriva where he was deputy chief executive and managing director.
His previous roles also include chief commercial officer at EasyJet and managing director of Thomson Holidays’ direct sell business
Dick Stead, executive chairman of Yodel, said: “Mike has an impressive track record of galvanising people to deliver exceptional results and using consumer insight to drive a great customer experience. He will focus us still further on our ever improving service levels and provide impetus to Yodel’s growth ambitions.”
