Yodel appoints director of international services
Parcel carrier Yodel has appointed Jayne James as director of international services.
The move follows the opening of Yodel’s first international office in Chengdu in China.
James previously worked with Deutsche Post DHL Group where she helped the company build cross border ecommerce growth to Europe and America. She also led projects offering ecommerce solutions to Chinese consolidators.
In her new role, she will report to Yodel’s chief commercial officer, Sam Holden, and will work alongside Duncan Lee, Yodel’s director of international business development.
Holden said: “As ecommerce becomes increasingly global, retailers need logistics partners that can deliver outstanding experiences to customers around the world. Jayne has a proven track record in global logistics and she and Duncan are ideally placed to develop and deliver our global plans and support Yodel’s growth in this area.”
