Wyevale bolsters retail expertise

New non-exec appointment for garden centre retailer
Wyevale Garden Centres has boosted the retail property expertise on its board with the appointment of Andrew Lewis-Pratt as a non-executive director.

Lewis-Pratt is currently Managing Director of the Retail Parks division of shopping centre specialist Capital & Regional. A qualified Chartered Surveyor, he was previously
managing director of Citygrove, one of the first specialised retail warehousing developers.
John Osborn, a non-executive director of Wyevale for almost eight years, is stepping down.
Wyevale chief executive Robert Hewitt said: “We are delighted that Andrew has joined the Wyevale board. His extensive experience of property in particular out of town retail will prove invaluable. I would also like to thank John Osborn for all his support and advice over the
years and wish him well in the future.”
Lewis-Pratt said: “I look forward to working with the management team at Wyevale. It is an
excellent business holding a strong position in the garden centre sector. The future for the business and shareholders alike is exciting and I look forward to working with the team to extend and build on the company’s position in the future.”
