Woking Shopping expands its retail and catering offer

Woking Shopping, the joint venture between Moyallen and Woking Borough Council, has confirmed that five brands have signed for new stores totalling more than 7,700 sq ft.

Outdoor specialist Millets has chosen The Peacocks for a new 2,086 sq ft store while Vision Express and Rush Hair and Beauty are both upsizing to new stores in Wolsey Place.

Meanwhile, the food court at The Peacocks will see openings from Grill and Go and Chopstix.

Tim Buckley of Moyallen said: “We are delighted to welcome these five new brands, all of whom add to Woking Shopping’s extensive mix of retail and dining brands.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“These additions are a great start to the year and we will only raise the bar further with the proposed Victoria Square development. This is a very exciting time for Woking Shopping.”

The news follows the submission of a planning application in January to create to the Victoria Square development in Woking which includes 125,000 sq ft of new retail floor space anchored by a 60,000 sq ft Marks & Spencer. The plans also feature a 190 bed four star hotel, 392 residential apartments, 380 additional car parking spaces, and two new public plazas.
