Wickes appoints chief retail and distribution officer
Wickes Group has appointed Steven Blair to the newly created role of chief retail and distribution officer.
Due to take up his position at the home improvement retailer on 10 March, Blair has worked in a range of senior roles at Tesco since 2015, most recently as strategy and business planning director.
Earlier in his career, he worked in the home improvement sector, holding operational leadership positions at B&Q and Tradepoint.
In his new role, Blair will report directly to David Wood, Wickes Group chief executive, and will also join the executive board.

“His extensive retail leadership experience, passion for the sector and deep expertise in managing operations will add tremendous value to our team.”
