WH Smith signs contract to open stores at Bahrain International Airport

WH Smith has secured a contract to open two stores in partnership with That Al Salasil at the new passenger terminal in Bahrain International Airport.
The retailer already operates 12 stores in partnership with That Al Salasil in shopping malls and at Kuwait International Airport.
Due to open this autumn, the Bahrain airport stores will be situated both landside and airside and will offer a range of books, magazines, stationery, travel accessories, confectionery and drinks. They will also sell a range of Arabic books.
The new stores mean that WH Smith will have a presence in nine airports in the Middle East following openings in Doha, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Kuwait, Amman, Salalah Dammam and Riyadh.
