Westfield London launches click and collect service hub for shoppers

Westfield London is trialling a new click and collect service that allows shoppers to buy clothing items online then go to the shopping centre to try on them on in a specially created service hub.

Launched in partnership with delivery and returns service Collect+, the new ‘Collect+ @Westfield’ service gives shoppers access to over 260 retailers including high street stores such as Topshop, Uniqlo, House of Fraser, River Island, Super Dry and Bobbi Brown as well as online retailers ASOS, Amazon and Very.

Shoppers are able to collect their purchases from a premium lounge area within the centre which includes a fitting room where they can try the garments on. The service operates the same opening hours as the shopping centre and also offers shoppers one hour’s free parking in a dedicated car park area.

Myf Ryan, marketing director, UK & Europe, said: “With the growing popularity of click and collect and shoppers’ wanting to use click and collect services at convenient locations such as Westfield, we saw an opportunity to respond to shoppers’ needs and ultimately help deliver a seamless experience for customers shopping online and in-store at Westfield London.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

“The Collect+ @Westfield pilot is part of our broader strategy to deliver digital solutions that enhance the customer shopping experience and drive sales opportunities for our retailers.”

Matthew Jacques, strategic partnerships director at Collect+, said: “The huge popularity of Westfield London as a shopping destination will provide our retailer partners with an excellent opportunity to increase their sales and it will also be an important and convenient collection point for our shoppers allowing them to try before they take home.”

The new service is part of Westfield London’s integrated concierge offering which includes services such as hands free shopping, valet parking and home delivery.
