Other latest news in brief on LK Bennett, Waitrose and Carluccio’s…

Women’s fashion retailer LK Bennett has appointed former John Lewis buying director Jo Hooper as its group product director.

In her new role, Hooper will oversee the product vision and strategy across the retailer’s core categories. She will also head up the retailer’s design, buying and merchandising teams.

Waitrose has announced that its entire range of own-label speciality baking sugars has been switched to Fairtrade, with small-scale farmers in Mauritius set to benefit from every bag that is sold.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Carluccio’s is to open a seasonal pop-up on Liverpool ONE’s Paradise Street. The 1,152 square foot store will make its debut on 13 November and will remain open throughout the Christmas period.  The store will stock a range of festive foods and gifts from Carluccio’s.
