Virgin Wines launches click & collect locker service
Virgin Wines has launched a new click and collect service where customers can pick up their online purchases from InPost lockers around the country.
When online shoppers proceed to check out on the Virgin Wines website they can now select to have bottles delivered to one of 1,000 InPost lockers which are within five miles of almost three-quarters of UK postcodes.
Customers are sent confirmation texts of dispatch and delivery to enable them to track their orders. The lockers offer fully automated 24/7 access.
Jay Wright, chief executive of Virgin Wines, said: “Wine is big in Britain and buying it online is becoming increasingly popular because it’s just so much more convenient – particularly when stocking up the wine rack for special occasions.

InPost’s lockers are situated at Morrisons supermarkets, petrol stations, train stations and Transport for London sites, as well as outside retailers such as Toys R Us and at local shops across the UK.
