Victoria Plum sold to AHK Designs

Online bathroom retailer Victoria Plum has been sold by private equity firm Endless as part of a pre-pack administration deal.

The retailer has been acquired by AHK Designs, a London based ecommerce retailer. The purchase will include the retailer’s head office and nationwide distribution network.

Victoria Plum employs more than 300 people who will all be transferred to the new owner as part of the sale.

The retailer entered administration on 29 September when Samuel James Woodward and Timothy Graham Vance of Ernst & Young were appointed as joint administrators.

Endless has owned Victoria Plum since 2019 and oversaw three years of profitable growth. According to Sky News, the retailer had been struggling in recent months following the impact of inflation on global freight costs and pressure on consumer spending.
