Vanessa Paradis becomes face of H&M’s eco-friendly Conscious collection
High street fashion retailer H&M has signed up Vanessa Paradis as the face of its Conscious at H&M sustainable clothing range.
In a new campaign for the line’s latest collection, the French actress and singer showcases a variety of garments all of which are made from more sustainable materials such as organic cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel.
Commenting on the partnership Paradis said: “I like being part of something like the Conscious collection at H&M. I try my best to shop consciously, and vintage is very much part of my wardrobe. I love the style and it works in an eco-friendly way because I like to use and reuse old clothes.”
Coinciding with the campaign will be the launch of the retailer’s Conscious garment recycling initiative. Customers will be able to take unwanted garments from any label to selected H&M stores and receive an H&M voucher for each bag of clothing donated up to a maximum of two bags per customer per day.
Never Miss a Retail Update! The full women’s collection will be available in H&M stores worldwide as well as online from end of March, alongside the Conscious collections for Men and fun prints for kids and babies.
