URBN appoints Melanie Marein-Efron as chief financial officer

URBN, the owner of the Anthropologie, BHLDN, Free People, FP Movement, Terrain, Urban Outfitters, Nuuly and Menus & Venues brands, has promoted Melanie Marein-Efron to the position of chief financial officer.

Having joined URBN in January 2013 as director of financial, planning and analysis, Marein-Efron was subsequently promoted to the role of executive director of finance and corporate development. Prior to that, she worked at Campbell Soup Company, Godiva Chocolate and General Motors in a range of senior finance roles.

Richard Hayne, URBN chairman and chief executive, said: “I am pleased to announce Melanie’s promotion to be our new chief financial officer, and I welcome her to our executive leadership team. I am confident Melanie will approach her new role with the same energy, dedication and thoroughness she has displayed since joining URBN eight years ago.”
