Uniqlo to launch largest store to date in South China
Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo is to open its largest South China store to date in Guangzhou.
Situated in Victoria Plaza in the famous Tianhe Road area of the city, the store will have a sales area of around 6,000 square metres and will stock the brand’s full range of clothing for men, women, kids, and babies.
Opening on 28 March, the store will also offer the largest Uniqlo T-shirt (UT) concept store in China with a sales floor of 280 square metres.
Mr Pan Ning, chief executive of Uniqlo Greater China, said: “South China is experiencing some of the fastest economic growth in the country, and is a key area of interest to Uniqlo. Guangzhou is at the very centre of this dynamic region, and the product offering from Uniqlo and other Fast Retailing companies is increasingly attractive.”
