Uniqlo launches click & collect service with Seven-Eleven stores in Japan

The Uniqlo clothing store chain is launching a new click and collect service where its online customers will be able to pick up their orders from Seven-Eleven stores in Japan.

Due to start on 16 February, the new service will be available at around 5,700 Seven-Eleven stores in Tokyo and in the Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba prefectures. The service will gradually roll out to other Seven-Eleven stores elsewhere in Japan.

In a statement, Uniqlo owner Fast Retailing said: “Most of these convenience stores operate around the clock, which should greatly benefit Uniqlo’s online customers by enabling them to pick up merchandise either near the office or home, so they do not have to wait at home for deliveries.”

Customers will not be charged a fee to use the service.
