Trio of retailers sign up to The Broadway

Three further retailers have announced plans to open stores in the new The Broadway shopping centre which is due to open in Bradford on 5 November.

New signings Office, Kiko Milano and Card Factory will join a lineup that includes Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, H&M, Next, Footasylum, New Look, Topshop/Topman, Taco Bell and Patisserie Valerie.

The Broadway store will be footwear retailer Office’s first in Bradford while the Card Factory store will be the brand’s second in the city. Italian cosmetics retailer Kiko Milano is also taking a unit.

Westfield operated The Broadway will create over 2,500 jobs in Bradford and is expected to generate a 40% increase in city centre footfall.

Keith Mabbett, director of leasing at Westfield, said: “Signing these three great retailers means The Broadway is now well over 80% let, highlighting the widespread confidence among leading retailers in both the development and Bradford as a fantastic city to invest.

“With just over two months to go before The Broadway opens, our leasing campaign has fantastic momentum, and I’m delighted that we’ll be announcing many more names in the coming weeks.”

Three kiosk operators have also announced they will be opening in The Broadway. iBrow and Beauty will be joined by Mooboo, the bubble tea specialist and The Case Tailors, a mobile phone accessory retailer.
