Trinity Leeds almost fully let ahead of launch

Trinity Leeds, the new shopping centre and leisure development due to open in March, is now 90% let following a number of new retail signings.

The latest additions to the Land Securities owned development include Armani Exchange, Coast and Bose as well as The Entertainer, Goldsmiths, Deichmann, and Leeds independent Phillip Stoner.

Other stores to open in the shopping centre include Hollister, Fossil, Mango, the UK’s largest Superdry and the first Victoria’s Secret outside of London. Anchors include Primark, Marks & Spencer, Next, and Topshop.

The £350 million scheme is the largest retail and leisure development under construction in the UK and will be home to over 100 shops and eateries.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

John Grimes, leasing director at Land Securities said: “Trinity Leeds is the only major retail development in the UK to launch this year and with its unique position, uniting the three busiest shopping streets in the city centre ensuring exceptional footfall, it’s no wonder big brands are queuing up to come to Leeds.

“Our confidence in the success of this new development is mirrored by our retail partners and together we will create a retail beacon for the UK and a centre that offers a shopping experience ahead of the curve.”

The development has provided hundreds of jobs for construction workers, including employment and training opportunities for apprentices. When it opens, Trinity Leeds will provide employment for more than 3,000 people.
