Travel Retail Consortium elects new chairman
The Travel Retail Consortium has elected Peter Ayling as its new chairman. He will remain in the role for the next two years.
A member of the TRC for the past six years representing Champagne Taittinger, Ayling has extensive experience in travel retail having spent 22 years with Allied Domecq in various sales and marketing roles.
From 2000, he worked in the Global Duty Free team managing the wine and champagne portfolios and in 2006 set up own travel retail consultancy business working with Hatch Mansfield Agencies on its wine and champagne portfolio.
Set up to further the interests and development of the travel retail industry in the UK, the TRC represents members such as Accolade Wines, Aurora, Coty Prestige Travel Retail and Export, Guinness, Heineken, Imperial Tobacco International, JA Associates (JCI Jewellery, Morgan & Oates), Mars, Remy Cointreau, Sekonda, Champagne Taittinger and Twining.
