Tiger to debut in Milton Keynes
Tiger, the Danish homewares and accessories chain, is continuing its UK expansion with the opening of a new 4,300 square foot store at Centre:mk in Milton Keynes.
Trading over two floors, the store will open in June and will be situated on Eagle Walk, adjacent to John Lewis and the new concept Clarks store.
Phillip Bier, managing director of Tiger Retail, said: “Opening at Centre:mk forms a key part of our UK strategy and expansion. We are excited to position the brand in such a busy destination and grow our customer base via the extensive and affluent reach of Centre:mk’s catchment.”
Founded in 1995 in Copenhagen, Tiger now operates 45 stores in the UK, and 425 globally across 25 countries.
Speaking on behalf of Centre:mk joint owners Hermes Investment Management and AustralianSuper, Ed Sellick said: “Tiger is a great brand for the centre and adds a new dynamic to our line up. The strength of Centre:mk as a leading regional retail destination makes it a highly desirable site for brands to rollout and we are pleased to welcome this exciting design led concept to Milton Keynes.”
The news follows Cath Kidston, The White Company and Jigsaw all opening regional flagships at Centre:mk in the last six months.
